This track came together over the course of several years, In the winter of 2019, I was sitting in the parking lot of a department store with my daughter and I was simply replying to some YouTube comments. I remember clearly, we shouldn’t have been driving because it was the worst snow storm we had that year and we were the only people out on the roads. The other reason why it was memorable is because two separate people within a three day period, commented on separate videos saying the same thing….. “Kool Keith would love this joint” and “ I could hear a Kool Keith on this“ !! At the time, I had not even worked with any artists at all and to me, A very far-fetched possibility of ever happening. But not impossible. I said to my daughter “if I could ever really work with Kool Keith one day, that would be CRAZY!!”. Fast forward, I stayed in the studio. I stayed in the “effort department”. I kept working, learning and connecting with like-minded people. I got linked up with Mike Titan, and that brought me to Fred Ones. After producing a few tracks and having them Mixed in Mastered by Fred Ones at TME studios (Home of Guerilla Grooves Radio) I had an opportunity to fulfill that far-fetched possibility. And to make it even better, I was able to work my Brothers Gamma Podz and Fred Ones into the track as well. Gamma threw some dope sound design elements and Fred Ones with the Cuts! Also mixed and mastered by Fred Ones. This was the second track from the Kool Keith collaboration, the first was Stormbringers…… with Mike Titan, Yahzeed and Kool Keith. Looking back on it now, WOW - The first track ended up being called Stormbringers and both tracks were actually conceived during a real storm. Go figure… ODD PILOT
